Tankie Talk

Salvatore Gabriel DiNubile “Tankie” was born on February 14, 2001, the day of love, Valentine's Day.
On October 24, 2017, my beloved grandson, Sal “Tankie” DiNubile walked through the gates of Heaven.
Those that knew Tankie can attest to his unwavering love, compassion, spirituality, loyalty, respect, protector, courage, humor, competitiveness, and being the heart and soul of a his family, friends, classmates, teammates, Tankie's Angels Mummers Brigade, neighborhood and community. I will continue to memorialize the courage, love and loyalty of Tankie who chose to Die Standing rather than Live Kneeling. There is no greater love than to sacrifice your life for your friends. He would want us to emulate his life and honor him. He loved fiercely and would want everyone to love each other and share the spirit of love every day and not just on Valentine's Day.
“Tankie Talk” is in memory of Salvatore's love of reading, writing, debate and his aspiration to become a lawyer. From on of his famous classics, “He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness… Live, then and be happy beloved children of my heart and never forget that until the day when God shall reign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words – wait and hope.” Alexander Dumas in Count of Monte Cristo.
